I goofed!

I tried to change my facebook page from Baca.Creations to SalenaBacaCrochet, but the name was merged in an odd way and I’m unable to change it back. Sigh…

That’s not such a terrible thing, though.

Baca.Creations began as a made-to-order crochet shop over 5 years ago, and I’ve changed so much since my very first hat sale! Now that I work solely under my full name, it only makes sense to totally scrap the old Baca Creations platforms and begin fresh!

Materials
• Yarn: 1 Skein Weight 4 Worsted Yarn (7oz, 355yds). Example made using Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn!
• Hook: I, or size needed for specified gauge

Sizing (measurements are approximate, actual subjects may vary)
• Gauge: 2 Shells and 8 rows = 4” x 4”

Sizes
Small (suggested age = 1-6y) 40” 4”
Medium (suggested age = 6-12y) 50” 4”
Large (suggested age = 12y-A) 60” 6”

Pattern Key
• Ch: Chain
• St / Sts: Stitch / Stitches
• Sk: Skip
• Sc: Single Crochet
• Dc: Double Crochet

40” (1-3 years, 3-6 years)
Row 1: Ch 128, (use back loop of Ch) Sc into second Ch from hook and each St across. (127 Sc)
Row 2, 4, 6, 8: Ch 1 (does not count as a St) and turn work, Sc into first St, *Sk next 2 Sts, work 5 Dc into following St (shell made), Sk next 2 Sts, Sc into following St. Repeat from *. (21 Shells)
Row 3, 5, 7: Ch 3 (first Dc) and turn work, work 2 DC into first St (half shell made at end), *Sk next 2 Sts, Sc at top of shell from previous row, Sk next 2 Sts, work 5 Dc into Sc from previous row. Finishing & Tassels
• Cut and fasten yarn after last row of pattern worked.
• Make 1 tassel for each end row; cut 6 pieces of 8” yarn for each tassel. Once attached, trim ends to make even.
